Human Services, Equitable Development, and Renter Rights Committee: To provide policy direction and oversight and to deliberate and make recommendations on legislative matters relating to: human services including but not limited to: homelessness, child care, aging, and disability services; and the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program; the equitable development initiative and its projects; and renters’ rights, including but not limited to legislation intended to protect renters facing gentrification, economic evictions, excessive background checks, and unaffordable rent.
