A RESOLUTION adopting the Statements of Legislative Intent for the 2023 Adopted Budget and 2023-2028 Adopted Capital Improvement Program.

WHEREAS, the City Council of The City of Seattle reviewed the 2023 Proposed Budget and 2023-2028 Proposed Capital Improvement Program (CIP); and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a budget and CIP for 2023 through Ordinance 126725; and
WHEREAS, in order to indicate the intent of the City Council in adopting the 2023 Budget and 2023-2028 CIP, the Council adopted the Statements of Legislative Intent (SLIs) included as Attachment A to this resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted and filed Clerk File 314508, which contains preliminary versions of SLIs for the 2023 Adopted Budget and 2023-2028 Adopted CIP; and
WHEREAS, Clerk File 314508 states that in the case of a conflict between the version of an SLI in the Clerk File and the version adopted in this resolution, the latter controls; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE, THE MAYOR CONCURRING, THAT:
Section 1. The City Council adopts the Statements of Legislative Intent for the 2023 Adopted Budget and 2023-2028 Adopted Capital Improvement Program, contained in Attachment A (2023 Statements of Legislative Intent by Council Committee) to this resolution.
