AN ORDINANCE relating to the Seattle Center Department; authorizing execution of an agreement with Festivals, Inc. for the presentation of the annual Bite of Seattle(r) Festival at Seattle Center in 2015, 2016, and 2017; and ratifying and confirming prior acts.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF SEATTLE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. As requested by the Seattle Center Director and recommended by the Mayor, the Seattle Center Director, or the Director's designee, is authorized to execute, for and on behalf of The City of Seattle, an agreement with Festivals, Inc. substantially in the form attached as Attachment 1 and identified as the 'Agreement Between The City of Seattle and Festivals, Inc. Regarding the "Bite of Seattle(r),"' for purposes related to the presentation of annual Bite of Seattle(r) festivals at Seattle Center from 2015 through 2017.
Section 2. Any act consistent with the authority and prior to the effective date of this ordinance is ratified and confirmed.


Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30 days after its approval by the Mayor, but if not approved and returned by the Mayor within ten days after presentation, it shall take effect as provided by Seattle Municipal Code Section 1.04.020.
