WHEREAS, in 2015, The City of Seattle was awarded funds from the Washington State Freight Mobility Strategic Investment Board (FMSIB) for freight spot improvements in the Duwamish Manufacturing/Industrial Center; and
WHEREAS, The City of Seattle was awarded funds from the State Regional Mobility Grant for the Broadway Extension Project; and
WHEREAS, The City of Seattle was awarded funds from the Connecting Washington Transportation package for the South Lander Street Grade Separation and Trolley Expansion/Electric Infrastructure Madison Route; and
WHEREAS, these grant funds require execution of agreements; and
WHEREAS, spending of these grants will begin in 2016; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF SEATTLE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Director of the Seattle Department of Transportation is authorized to accept the following non-City funding from the grantor listed below, and to execute, deliver, and perform agreements for the purposes described below. The funds, when received, shall be deposited in the receiving fund identified below to support, or as reimbursement for, the corresponding appropriations set forth in Section 2 of this ordinance.
