A RESOLUTION adopting Statements of Legislative Intent for the 2017 Adopted Budget, 2018 Endorsed Budget, and 2017-2022 Adopted Capital Improvement Program (CIP).

WHEREAS, the City Council of The City of Seattle reviewed the 2017-2018 Proposed Budget and 2017-2022 Proposed Capital Improvement Program (CIP); and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a budget and CIP for 2017 through Ordinance 125207 and endorsed a budget for 2018 through Resolution 31719; and
WHEREAS, in order to indicate the intent of the City Council in adopting the 2017 Budget and 2017-2022 CIP and endorsing the 2018 Budget, the Council adopted the attached Statements of Legislative Intent (SLIs); and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted and filed Clerk File 314362, which contains preliminary versions of SLIs for the 2017 Adopted Budget, 2018 Endorsed Budget, and the 2017-2022 Adopted CIP; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 125207 referenced Clerk File 314362 only with respect to budget provisos, modifications to revenue estimates and changes to the Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, Clerk File 314362 states that in the case of a conflict between the version of a SLI in the Clerk File and the version adopted in this resolution, the latter controls; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE, THE MAYOR CONCURRING, THAT:
Section 1. The City Council adopts the Statements of Legislative Intent for the 2017 Adopted Budget, 2018 Endorsed Budget, and the 2017-2022 Adopted Capital Improvement Program, contained in Attachment A (2017 Statements of Legislative Intent by Council Committee) to this resolution.
