AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance 125429 to modify the effective date of certain sections of that ordinance.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF SEATTLE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 33 of Ordinance 125429, which ordinance is attached to this ordinance as Attachment 1, is amended as follows:
Section 33. Sections 3 through 6, Sections 8 through 15, ((and)) Sections 17 through 27, and Sections 29 through 31 of this ordinance shall take effect and be in force ((60 days after the effective date of this ordinance)) on July 1, 2018, to ensure there is adequate time for rule making and any adjustments in business practices. Section 28 of this ordinance shall take effect and be in force on March 1, 2018.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30 days after its approval by the Mayor, but if not approved and returned by the Mayor within ten days after presentation, it shall take effect as provided by Seattle Municipal Code Section 1.04.020.
