AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance 125706 to modify the effective date of that ordinance.

WHEREAS, Ordinance 125706, introduced as Council Bill 119388 and updating street use permit fees, was passed by the City Council on November 19, 2018 and signed by the Mayor on November 26, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 125706 takes effect April 1, 2019; and
WHEREAS, due to changes in funding, Green Sheet 35-30-A-2 approved amending the effective date of Council Bill 119388 to June 15, 2019, but that amendment was never made in the legislation itself before passage; and
WHEREAS, amending the effective date of Ordinance 125706 is necessary to effectuate the intent of the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF SEATTLE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 4 of Ordinance 125706 is amended as follows:
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force on ((April 1)) June 15, 2019.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30 days after its approval by the Mayor, but if not approved and returned by the Mayor within ten days after presentation, it shall take effect as provided by Seattle Municipal Code Section 1.04.020.
