A RESOLUTION adopting Statements of Legislative Intent for the 2019 Adopted Budget, 2020 Endorsed Budget, and 2019-2024 Adopted Capital Improvement Program.

WHEREAS, the City Council of The City of Seattle reviewed the 2019-2020 Proposed Budget and 2019-2024 Proposed Capital Improvement Program (CIP); and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a budget and CIP for 2019 through Ordinance 125724 and endorsed a budget for 2020 through Resolution 31849; and
WHEREAS, in order to indicate the intent of the City Council in adopting the 2019 Budget and 2019-2024 CIP and endorsing the 2020 Budget, the Council adopted the Statements of Legislative Intent (SLIs) included as Attachment A to this resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted and filed Clerk File 314408, which contains preliminary versions of SLIs for the 2019 Adopted Budget, 2020 Endorsed Budget, and 2019-2024 Adopted CIP; and
WHEREAS, Clerk File 314408 states that in the case of a conflict between the version of an SLI in the Clerk File and the version adopted in this resolution, the latter controls; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE THAT:
Section 1. The City Council adopts the Statements of Legislative Intent for the 2019 Adopted Budget, 2020 Endorsed Budget, and 2019-2024 Adopted Capital Improvement Program, contained in Attachment A (2019 Statements of Legislative Intent by Council Committee) to this resolution.
