BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF SEATTLE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Designating three Positions as Exempt from the Civil Service System. As recommended by the Seattle Human Resources Director in the Classification Determination Reports specified, the following positions are designated as exempt from civil service as noted below, pursuant to Seattle Municipal Code Section 4.13.010.
A. One filled position (00016843) in the Seattle Information Technology; Manager 2, Information Technology, designated to Information Technology Professional A, Exempt (Report #18-16741);
B. One filled position (10002314) in the Seattle Information Technology; Information Technology Professional C - BU, designated to Information Technology Professional A, Exempt (Report #18-16675);
C. One filled position (10004096) in the Seattle Department of Human Resources; Personnel Analyst, designated to Strategic Advisor 1, Exempt (Report #18-16958).
Section 2. Authorizing Payment. To comply with chapter 50A.04 RCW, the City will pay into the Washington State paid family and medical leave insurance program. The City will pay the employee's premium share into the program beginning January 1, 2019 and up to December 31, 2019.
Section 3. Any act consistent with the authority of this ordinance taken after its passage and prior to its effective date is ratified and confirmed.
