WHEREAS, by Ordinance 125724, in November 2018, the Council adopted the City's 2019 Budget, including the 2019-2024 Capital Improvement Program (CIP); and
WHEREAS, since adoption of the 2019 Budget, including the 2019-2024 CIP, the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) has solicited the Seattle Department of Transportation regarding the City's readiness to accept and rapidly obligate contingent grant funding for the Cowen Park Bridge Rehabilitation project; and
WHEREAS, these grant funds require execution of agreements; and
WHEREAS, spending of these grants will begin in 2019; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF SEATTLE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Director of the Seattle Department of Transportation is authorized to accept the following non-City funding from the grantor listed below, and to execute, deliver, and perform agreements for the purposes described below. The funds, when received, shall be deposited in the receiving fund identified below to support, or as reimbursement for, the corresponding appropriations set forth in Section 2 of this ordinance.
