WHEREAS, the Washington State Convention Center has filed a petition with the City Council to vacate public property; and
WHEREAS, the petition is signed by the owners of more than two-thirds of the property abutting on the subject area; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE THAT:
Section 1. A hearing by the Seattle City Council for the petition to vacate the alley in Block 33, Heirs of Sarah A. Bell's 2nd Addition; the alley in Block 43, Heirs of Sarah A. Bell's 2nd Addition; the alley in Block 44, Heirs of Sarah A. Bell's 2nd Addition; a subterranean portion of Terry Avenue between Howell Street and Olive Way; and a subterranean portion of Olive Way between 9th Avenue and Boren Avenue, has been scheduled to take place during the Council's Sustainability and Transportation Committee meeting on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, starting at 5:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, Floor 2, City Hall. The Sustainability and Transportation Committee of the City Council will consider the petition when Clerk File 314338 is before the committee according to the Committee's agenda.
