AN ORDINANCE relating to land use and zoning; amending Ordinance 125733 to correct a clerical error regarding a condition of approval of the University of Washington’s 2018 Seattle Campus Master Plan.

WHEREAS, on December 10, 2018, the City Council adopted Ordinance 125733, which granted conditional approval of the University of Washington’s 2018 Seattle Campus Master Plan (CMP); and
WHEREAS, conditions of approval 11 and 17 contained in Attachment 1 to Ordinance 125733 describe parking requirements; and
WHEREAS, condition 11 as amended expresses the Council’s intent but through clerical oversight the amendments to condition 11 were not reflected in condition 17, thereby creating an inconsistency between condition 11 and condition 17; and
WHEREAS, if condition 17 were amended to reflect condition 11 as amended the conditions would be identical and duplicative, and therefore condition 17 should be deleted from Attachment 1 to Ordinance 125733; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF SEATTLE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Condition 17 contained in Attachment 1 to Ordinance 125733 is deleted as shown in Attachment 1 to this ordinance.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30 days after its approval by the Mayor, but if not approved and returned by the Mayor within ten days after presentation, it shall take effect as provided by Seattle Municipal Code Section 1.04.020.
