AN ORDINANCE appropriating money to pay certain audited claims for the week of January 3, 2022 through January 7, 2022 and ordering the payment thereof.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF SEATTLE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Payment of the sum of $24,454,504.71 on PeopleSoft 9.2 mechanical warrants numbered 4100537114 - 4100539668 plus manual or cancellation issues for claims, E-Payables of $205,842.63 on PeopleSoft 9.2 9100010990 - 9100011026 and Electronic Financial Transactions (EFT) in the amount of $47,687,210.81 are presented for ratification by the City Council per RCW 42.24.180.
Section 2. Payment of the sum of $51,784,197.24 on City General Salary Fund mechanical warrants numbered 51357677 - 51358267 plus manual warrants, agencies warrants, and direct deposits numbered 20001 - 22770 representing Gross Payrolls for payroll ending date January 4, 2022 as detailed in the Payroll Summary Report for claims against the City which were audited by the Auditing Committee and reported by said committee to the City Council January 13 , 2022 consistent with appropriations heretofore made for such purpose from the appropriate Funds, is hereby approved.
Section 3. Any act consistent with the authority of this ordinance taken prior to its effective date is hereby ratified and confirmed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30 days after its approval by the Mayor, but if not approved and returned by the Mayor within ten days after presentation, it shall take effect as provided by Seattle Municipal Code Section 1.04.020.
