An ordinance relating to City employment; exempting positions from the civil service system; and returning positions to the civil service system; all by a 2/3 vote of the City Council.

Be it ordained by The City of Seattle as follows:

Section 1. Exempting four positions from civil service status. As requested by the departments, the following positions are exempted from civil service:

- One filled position (00013635) in Seattle City Light, Executive 1, Exempt (Report # REQ22715)

- One filled position (00014086) in Seattle City Light, Executive 2, Exempt (Report # REQ22750)

- One filled position (10007390) in Seattle Public Utilities, Executive 2, Exempt -(Report # REQ22426)

- One filled position (00022632) in Seattle Public Utilities, Executive 2, Exempt (Report # REQ22107)

Section 2. Returning seven positions to civil service status. As requested by the departments, the following positions are returned to civil service:

- Seven filled positions (00011406, 00022587, 00021255, 00020258, 00011407, 00023162, and 10003067) in the Seattle Municipal Court, Court Clerk (Report # REQ22199)

 

 

This ordinance shall take effect as provided by Seattle Municipal Code Sections 1.04.020 and 1.04.070.
