AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the plat of "Alki 12" in portions of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 24 North, Range 3 East, W.M., in King County, Washington.

WHEREAS, a proposed plat of "Alki 12" has been submitted for approval under Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections (SDCI) Permit No. 3026422; and
WHEREAS, following review and recommendations by the various City departments that have jurisdiction in this matter and a public hearing by the Hearing Examiner of The City of Seattle on October 27, 2017, the Hearing Examiner approved the preliminary plat of "Alki 12" subject to certain conditions on November 6, 2017; and
WHEREAS, SDCI has confirmed that the preliminary plat conditions have been satisfied; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Transportation and the Director of SDCI have, subject to City Council approval, approved the final plat and have reported that the final plat now meets all of the requirements of the state platting law (chapter 58.17 RCW) and of the Seattle Municipal Code (Chapter 23.22), except for the execution of the required certifications by the King County Assessor and the King County Finance Division; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Transportation and the Director of SDCI report that the plat of "Alki 12," a copy of which is in Clerk File 314366, is now complete and ready for City Council approval; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF SEATTLE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The plat of "Alki 12," a platting of portions of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 24 North, Range 3 East, W.M., in King County, Washington, is legally described as follows:
LOTS 13, 14, 15, AND 16, BLOCK 2, MCGINNIS REPLAT OF THE WEST HALF OF LOT 12, PLAT OF ALKI POINT, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF, RECORDED IN VOLUME 17 OF PLATS, PAGE 63, IN KING COUNTY, WA.
EXCEPT THAT PORTION OF LOTS 14, ...
