A RESOLUTION revising Resolution 31849, which endorsed a budget for The City of Seattle for 2020, by substituting a new Attachment A that corrects technical omissions and errors.

WHEREAS, Resolution 28885 stated the City Council’s intent to adopt a Citywide biennial budgeting process consisting of two one-year budgets, effective January 1, 1995; and
WHEREAS, with the exception of continuing and carry-forward appropriations, no funds will be appropriated for Year Two of a biennium in the first year of a biennial budget process; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 28885 states the City Council’s intent to endorse a budget for Year Two of each biennial budgeting period at the time it adopts the Year One budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council wish to endorse the 2020 budget and position modifications for The City of Seattle, which will be subject to further review and modification before being adopted by future ordinance in 2019; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 31849, which originally endorsed the 2020 budget for The City of Seattle, had technical omissions and errors that are being corrected in this resolution; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE, THE MAYOR CONCURRING, THAT:
Section 1. Resolution 31849 is revised by substituting Attachment A to this resolution for Attachment A to Resolution 31849.
