A RESOLUTION fixing the date for hearing the final assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 6751 ("Waterfront LID") to design and construct the Central Waterfront Improvement Program and directing that notice of the hearing be given in the manner required by law.

WHEREAS, by Ordinance 125760, passed in January 2019, the City Council of The City of Seattle established Local Improvement District No. 6751 of the City (interchangeably, "LID 6751" or the "Waterfront LID"); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Transportation has filed the proposed final assessment roll for LID 6751 with the City Clerk; and it is necessary to fix a date for the hearing of the roll, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE, THE MAYOR CONCURRING, THAT:
Section 1. Notice of Public Hearing. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give notice of the time and place fixed for the public hearing on the final assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 6751. The notice shall also notify all persons who may desire to object thereto:
(1) To make their objections in writing and to file them with the City Clerk at or prior to the date fixed for the hearing;
(2) That at the time and place fixed and at times to which the hearing may be adjourned, the City Council will sit as a board of equalization for the purpose of considering the roll; and
(3) That at the hearing the City Council will consider the objections made and will correct, revise, raise, lower, change, or modify the roll or any part thereof or set aside the roll and order the assessment to be made de novo.
The City Clerk shall mail such notice at least 15 days before the date fixed for public hearing to the owner or reputed owner of the property, as shown on the rolls of the King County Treasurer at the address shown thereon, as required by law.
