WHEREAS, the City accepted property in Lot 1, Block 7, Steel Plant Addition to the City of Seattle; Lots 2 and 4, Block 55, Homecroft Addition to the City of Seattle; and Lot 19, Block 2, Steel Plant Addition to the City of Seattle for general corporate purposes pursuant to Ordinance 91075 passed in 1962, and placed the property under the jurisdiction of the Seattle Department of Transportation, formerly known as the City Engineer ("SDOT"); and
WHEREAS, the South 104.4 feet of the North 204.4 feet of Lot 1, Block 7, Steel Plant Addition to the City of Seattle (the "Tax Property"), which was not included with the property accepted in Ordinance 91075, was acquired from King County to satisfy unpaid taxes and subsequently purchased by the City of Seattle in 1951 pursuant to Ordinance 79972; and
WHEREAS, the Westerly ten foot strip of the Tax Property was transferred to SDOT's jurisdiction in 1960 and designated for street purposes pursuant to Ordinance 89301 to widen Delridge Way; the remainder of the Tax Property was transferred to SDOT's jurisdiction pursuant to Ordinance 90840 in 1962 in connection with the proposed Sound Way improvement, but was not designated for street purposes or laid off as right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the City accepted property in Lots 1, 2, and 4, Block 6, Smith's Replat of Lots 11 to 20 Block 1 Steel Plant Addition ...
